The Agriculture Department has fourteen different clubs and organizations in which students can become involved: Block & Bridle, Pre-Vet, Collegiate FFA, Wildlife, and agricultural fraternities and sororities, just to name a few! Students also have the opportunity to become Agriculture Ambassadors and/or enroll in the Leadership Class. The Leadership Class allows students to be more involved in the workings of the Agriculture Department as well as hearing motivational speakers. Representative speakers include Senator Norma Champion; Carla Bellis, Mt. Vernon High School Counselor; Charles Kruse, Missouri Farm Bureau President, and Don Lucietta, Agriculture liaison for Congressman Roy Blunt.
