Understanding agribusiness

An agricultural business minor prepares you to work with or in the food, fiber and natural resources industry by bridging the gap between business and the field. Specifically, this 20-hour program provides you with a foundation of agricultural economics, so you can better understand the characteristics, challenges and issues related to agricultural-based businesses.

Minor requirements

To complete a minor in agricultural business, you must complete the following courses:

Agricultural Business

Bachelor of Science
  1. AGB 144(4), 394(1).
  2. Additional courses from the following to total at least 20 hours in Agricultural Economics: AGB 334(3), 344(3), 354(2), 374(3), 524(3), 534(3), 584(3).

Adding a minor

To add a minor, visit the Academic Advising and Transfer Center in University Hall 109. You may need to receive a signature from the dean of the College of Agriculture to authorize the addition of an agricultural business minor.
