Joining one or more organizations provides you with leadership and networking opportunities. Make the most of your college years by getting involved within your major and your community!

Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow

Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow is a professional organization that strives to prepare students for the real world through the development of communication skills. You can expand your practical knowledge about telling the story of the agriculture industry for future internships and jobs.

Agronomy Club

The Agronomy Club develops skills involving crop and soil science to improve knowledge and skills to move students' careers forward. Focus is given to leadership development and networking within the crop science industry. You can participate in activities such as stream cleanup and assisting with the Agronomy CDE in the Southwest District FFA Contest.

Alpha Gamma Rho

The Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho is both a social and professional fraternity bringing future professionals of the food, fiber and natural resources industry together. Membership in Alpha Gamma Rho is restricted to men who are interested in agriculture and its specialty areas.

Baking Club

The mission of the MSU Baking Club is to bring food lovers together to celebrate the art of cooking and baking, increase our knowledge of cooking skills, cooking techniques, and recipes, and cook delicious meals and pastries from all countries and cultures.

Beekeeping Club 

We educate others on bee/nature conservation and provide students and faculty with hands-on experience.

Block and Bridle Club

The Block and Bridle Club strives to promote the profession of animal science, educate students about livestock production, and unite students with an interest in showing livestock. Block and Bridle hosts a jackpot show every spring at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.

Collegiate Farm Bureau

Collegiate Farm Bureau is designed to build a bridge between agricultural production, business interests, and local, state and national government. The chapter seeks to keep informed of current agriculture issues and trends, while connecting you to the Missouri Farm Bureau and American Farm Bureau.

Collegiate FFA

Collegiate FFA is a club for any major on campus who wants to continue their involvement in FFA. Members will continue to build leadership and communication skills, participate in service projects and social activities, and recruit prospective students.

Delta Tau Alpha

DTA strives to promote and recognize high standards of scholarship, leadership and character among agricultural students. Founded at Missouri State University, the national agricultural honors fraternity is for junior members with a minimum 3.6 GPA.

Eta Sigma Delta

Eta Sigma Delta is a nationally recognized hospitality honors society guided by the core values of excellence, leadership, creativity, service, and ethics. The purpose of ESD is to aid it's members professional development in the hospitality industry and to represent hospitality service in our community.

Forestry Club

Forestry Club enhances student knowledge and training in forestry-related skills. Members compete in a Timber Sports Conclave including sports such as axe throwing and team sawing competitions. Students spend time at the Woodlands, a property in North Springfield comprised of 160-acres of Ozarks natural timber.

Horsemen's Association

Horsemen’s Association is an organization for students with a common interest in horses. All horse enthusiasts, regardless of experience level, are welcome. Members who qualify for competition will travel to sanctioned Intercollegiate Horse Show Association shows across the Midwest.

Horticulture Club

Horticulture Club promotes knowledge about ornamental and landscape plants as well as fruit and vegetable production. Focus is given to garden and greenhouse production in partnership with the Campus Garden. Members host a plant sale annually open to the Missouri State community and the general public.

Hospitality Leaders of Tomorrow

Hospitality Leaders of Tomorrow (HLOT) is a professional & social organization for Hospitality Leadership students. Members network, build industry connections, and participate in community service events.

A hospitality student organization that focuses on student engagement through educational, social, and networking opportunities.

MSU Cattlemen's Association 

The MSU Cattlemen's Association is a Missouri Cattlemen's Association-affiliated chapter that strives to advocate for policy changes impacting cattle producers. Members attend events like Beef Quality Assurance certification trainings and host events that inform people about the importance of beef production.

MSU Fishing Team

The MSU fishing team is a team of tournament and recreational anglers that can compete locally and nationally. They travel around the country from Texas to New York, to South Carolina for bass fishing tournaments.

Pre-Veterinary Club

The Pre-Veterinary Club promotes interest in the field of veterinary medicine and assists you in gaining admission to the veterinary school of your choice. You will stay informed on current animal science issues, interact with fellow students and host events to benefit animals in the community.

Ranch Horse Team

The Ranch Horse Team is a competitive team focused on western riding styles and reining. Students can try out for the team and will travel if they qualify through the American Stock Horse Association. You will train and ride on one horse for a show season, gaining confidence and bond with the animal.

Sigma Alpha

The Alpha Xi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority promotes the development of excellence in women in agriculture and strengthens friendship among them. Members strive for scholarship, leadership, fellowship and service. Sorority members plan professional, philanthropy, social and sisterhood events.

Trap and Skeet Team

The Trap and Skeet Team practices twice a week preparing for competitions throughout the Midwest and a national competition held each spring. The club also hosts the Missouri State University Invitational shoot each March.

Wildlife Society

The Wildlife Society of Missouri State prepares you for careers in wildlife biology, conservation and management. Members build professionalism, high standards for scholarship and a shared passion for wildlife animals among members. Supported in conjunction with the Biology Department.
