Equine Science (Comprehensive)

Bachelor of Science

Major requirements (75-78 hours):

Note: 13-16 hours may double count toward the General Education requirements.

  1. Specific General Education requirements:
    1. BIO 101(3) and 111(1); or BIO 121(4).
    2. CHM 107(3) and 108(1); or CHM 116(4) and 117(1); or CHM 160(4).
    3. GEP 101(2) or UHC 110(2) or AGR 301(1).
    4. MTH 130(3) or 135(3) or 138(5) or 261(5) or 287(3).
  2. AGB 144(4), AGB 584(3); AGP 103(3) or AGN 115(3); AGP 365(3) or 370(3); AGR 300(3), AGR 490(1); AGS 101(3), 102(1), 191(2), 301(3), 302(3), 310(3), 311(3), 316(3), 361(3); 362(3) or 365(3); 366(3).
  3. Public Affairs Capstone Experience Requirement: AGS 461(3).
  4. 12 hours from the following two groups of courses including at least six hours from Group A, three hours from Group B, and an additional three hours from Groups A or B:
