  • perforated pennycress is somewhat similar to, but much smaller than field pennycress
  • native to Europe
  • only grows 4-8 inches tall
  • commonly found in open turf and warm-season turf in winter
  • has leaves that clasp around stem
  • flowers are small, white, with four petals, appearing in early spring
  • fruit is a small, heart-shaped silique, somewhat upcurved and flat, but with an inflated center
