  • Has a much-branched, prostrate to upright-spreading growth habit
  • Leaves opposite, oval, with smooth, wavy margins and short hairs on stems and leaves
  • Flowers in clusters at tips of stems and in axils of leaves on 0.25 to 1 inch long stalks
  • Individual flowers small, pointed, white to yellowish, persistent
