Blue Pimpernel: (not in Weeds of the Great Plains; not in Weeds of the Northeast)

• low, spreading summer annual with opposite leaves, appearing similar to chickweed, but with blue flowers; same species as scarlet pimpernel, which has red-orange flowers
• found in turfgrass, landscape plantings, low-growing annual crops
