Bog Yellowcress, Marsh Yellowcress:

  • annual weed, with 1-3’ tall stems branching above the base
  • leaves deeply divided, with teeth on leaf divisions
  • flowers small, yellow, followed by 0.5-1.5" long elliptical pods that curve slightly
  • found in wet soils, stream banks, non-crop areas
  • some have smooth leaves, other very hairy--may be different natural varieties
