Juniperus sabina ‘Broadmoor:’ ‘Broadmoor’ Savin Juniper

  • Leaves scale-like, opposite, rounded or blunt-tipped; some leaves on young plants or older branchlets awl-like, 1/6" long with midrib on top; strong "savin" odor and bitter taste
  • Male clone
  • Gray-green foliage color with no purpling in winter
  • Main lateral branches spread horizontally, from these there are many short branchlets that reach up, and center of plant tends to mound up" with age
  • Slow growth rate
  • Resistant to Phomopsis blight
