Location on campus: on north side of Greenwood Lab School, toward east end of circle drive
- Evergreen, alternate, glabrous, narrow-oblong leaves with mostly entire margins; about 1-2" long and 1/3 to 1/4 as wide
- Forms much-branched mounded plant with racemes of white flowers in late spring through early summer, sometimes repeating in fall
- Grows 4-8" tall and about 12-18" wide per plant
- Good for cool, well-drained, moderate to high organic matter soils in part-shade to full sun
