Common Moonseed Vine:

  • Native perennial vine that sprouts each year from a large, tuberous root
  • Stems are green to brown and climb by twining around objects
  • Leaves are alternate, thin, rounded with 3-5 lobes
  • Flowers are tiny, white, in axillary racemes
  • Fruit is a small, grape-like blue-black berry; seeds are crescent shaped and poisonous
