Common Reed Grass:
- Warm-season perennial grass that spreads by rhizomes, not much by seeds
- Tall-growing (3-20 feet), with short, but broad leaf blades and large, golden-brown dense panicle inflorescences
- Found in wetter soils
- Non-native colonies more aggressive, have persistent leaf sheaths throughout winter
