Corn Gromwell:
- annual or winter annual with alternate, linear, pubescent leaves in the Boraginaceae (Borage) family
- tiny white flowers in leaf axils in mid to late spring
- found in pastures, lawns, fencerows, winter annual crops, non-crop areas
- roots were used to make a red dye
- has some poisonous alkaloids in plant, but not commonly cause of poisoning
