Nandina domestica ‘Nana:’ Dwarf Bamboo, Dwarf Nandina

  • leaves similar to species, except some cultivars have slightly larger, more rounded leaves with downward curved or crinkled margins (‘Harbour Dwarf,' 'Firepower,' others-- top 3 photos illustrate this leaf form)
  • grows 2-3' tall and wide
  • similar to species in growth requirements, stems, flowering
  • do not tend to form colonies as much as species
  • slow growth rate
