  • branchlets slender, more rounded, cordlike, needles slightly spreading at tips of branchlets; needles in pairs with whitish lines on them
  • grows in 6-8' tall and 10' wide in a drooping mound
  • fruit is a small yellow-brown cone
  • prefers full sun, moist, high-organic matter, well-drained acidic soils
  • medium growth rate
