Location on campus: north of Temple Hall, in median planting bed of drive leading to/from Bear Park South; on east side of Great Southern Bank Arena.

  • cool-season grass, with narrow basal leaves 12-18" tall
  • stiff, upright, narrow silvery to white inflorescence panicles in late spring that persist through fall
  • adapted to more moist soils than other ornamental grasses
  • needs full sun
