Field Pepperweed:

  • winter annual with basal rosette of elongated, finely-toothed leaves
  • sends up several, 1-2’ tall stems from base, which split into multiple racemes at top
  • flowers small, white; siliques flat, rounded, with notch at tip
  • found in pastures, forage crops, reduced tillage crops, non-crop disturbed areas
  • usually not as common as Virginia pepperweed
