Fraxinus pennsylvanica: Green Ash
- very similar to white ash except:
- leaflets more pubescent underneath (less whitish) and turn yellow for fall color
- leaf scar is shield shaped-- not indented at top
- more tolerant of dry and variable soils than white ash
