Spreading Orach, Halberd-leaf Orach: (pp. 252-253, Weeds of the Great Plains, not in Weeds of the Northeast)
- Has triangular-shaped leaves with lobes pointed out or upward
- Leaves often slightly fleshy and will have whitish-silvery coating on them (particularly when young)
- Has upright, somewhat spreading growth habit up to 4-5 feet tall
- Found in cultivated fields, disturbed sites
- More common in northern midwest
- Has larger growth, larger leaves, more whitish coating (usually) than Common Orach.
