Hoary Alyssum:

  • winter or summer annual with white flowers with four deeply-notched petals per flower
  • oval, smooth-margined leaves and stems covered with hairs
  • found in cool-season annual crops, pastures and range
  • can be toxic to livestock
  • more common in northern part of Midwest, but found in Missouri
