Jerusalem Oak:
- spreading to upright, much-branched summer annual with medium to light green, fuzzy leaves
- leaves have shape of an oak leaf and have strong, disagreeable odor if crushed
- flowers are tiny in the axils of the leaves
- entire plant--leaves, stems--are hairy
- prefers moist, well-drained, fertile soils
- occasional weed in southwest Missouri--often brought to sites by new nursery plants
