Platanus x acerifolia: London Plane Tree

• very similar to American Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis) except:
  • leaves slightly smaller
  • fruit is in clusters of 2-3 achene clusters
  • bark exfoliates all the way down the trunk to the ground
  • not as prone to anthracnose, but gets other diseases
