Mapleleaf Goosefoot:

  • native summer annual weed found in northern states cultivated crops and disturbed sites (in Missouri)
  • leaves similar to common lambsquarters, but larger, more triangular and almost maple-like
  • grows 3-6 feet tall, with less branching than usually found on common lambsquarters
  • inflorescences at stem tips usually have flowers more spread out than in common lambsquarters
