Mexicantea:
- summer annual with dark green stems and narrow, toothed leaves, with all of plant having a strong wormwood or medicinal odor
- leaves narrower than lambsquarters, with no whitish coating
- grows 1-5’ tall, less branching, more of a narrow plant than lambsquarters
- more localized in its occurrence, and less aggressive than lambsquarters
- strong odor may give off-flavor to hay, milk
