Moth Mullein:

  • biennial weed with small rosette of rough-textured, lanceolate leaves with lobed margins first year
  • second year produces slender flowering stalk with a raceme of white or yellow showy flowers and round seed pods
  • prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soils in pastures, roadsides, cultivated fields, non-crop areas
