Partridge Pea:
- Annual with alternate pinnately-compound leaves, like a “sensitive plant" or mimosa tree
- Grows 8-36 inches tall, with little branching
- Yellow, rounded flowers 0.5-1.5 inches diameter, in axils of leaves
- Fruit is a flattened pod 1-3 inches long
- Can cause “scours" in cattle grazing on them
