  • Similar to poison ivy in appearance, but Pacific poison oak has lobed teeth on the leaflets, like a white oak, not smooth leaflet margins or pointed teeth on margins, as on poison ivy
  • Is not found east of the Rocky Mountains
  • Leaves, oils from sap can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individual
