Smallflower Morningglory:

  • has heart-shaped, fuzzy leaves with indented veins that curve to parallel outer leaf margins
  • flowers are very tiny, lavender blue and held in dense, hairy clusters in axils of leaves
  • a problem more in southern row crops than in Missouri, but occasionally found in southeast Missouri row crops
