Viburnum setigerum: Tea Viburnum
- Leaves opposite, lanceolate to oval-lanceolate, 3-6 inches long and about 1/3 to 1/2 as wide, with smooth or widely-spaced shallow teeth on upper portions of leaf; leaves glabrous to slightly hairy on leaf underside; dark green above, lighter green below
- stems gray, glabrous, thick
- grows 12-15' tall and wide, coarse textured upright oval growing plant--somewhat open and leggy
- flowers are white in flat-topped, terminal clusters in mid spring, followed by orange-red drupes from September through late fall
- prefers part-shade to full sun, moist, well-drained fertile soils
- medium growth rate
