  • Summer annual, usually rounded, branched plant, growing 6-18" tall
  • Leaves are shiny dark green and deeply lobed with 3 lobes and smaller lobes on each lobed
  • Produces large creamy flowers with purplish throat at stem tips; fruit is a globe-shaped capsule
  • Found in cultivated fields, gardens
