  • A creeping perennial weed, with creeping roots; more common west of here; is a noxious weed in some western states
  • Has leaves similar to common ragweed, but stems and leaves are thicker, more rough-textured than common ragweed
  • Inflorescence/flowers similar to common ragweed
  • Grows 12-36 inches tall, found in most soils except very wet
  • Common in vacant lots, roadsides, pastures
