Lonicera fragrantissima: Winter Honeysuckle
- leaves simple, opposite, semi-evergreen, ovate with slight point at leaf tip; about 1-3" long and about 2/3 as wide; leaf surfaces dark green to blue green and glabrous
- stems slender, light brown, somewhat shiny with white pith
- flowers creamy white, about 2" diameter, very fragrant; produced in mid to late winter
- rounded growth habit growing 6-10' tall and wide
- prefers full sun to partial shade, soil adaptable except to very wet soils
- medium to fast growth rate
