Toxicodendron pubescens P. Mill.; Atlantic Poison-Oak: (Bayer Code: TOXQU; US Code TOPU2)

  • Has somewhat similar, lobed leaves to Pacific poison-oak, but only grows as a shrub and has velvety hairs on new stems and leaf petioles
  • Fruit light tan, in small axillary clusters, and are covered with velvety hairs, while poison ivy has smooth (non-hairy fruit)
  • Found more in southeastern U.S. in open woods, non-crop areas
