Creeping Yellowcress, Yellow Fieldcress:

  • creeping perennial very similar to spreading yellowcress except:
    • leaves more deeply divided, with teeth on each lobe
    • siliques more slender (not as elliptical) and not as curved
    • individual stems more upright (not as sprawling as above), but grow about same height
    • found more in eastern part of Midwest, while spreading yellowcress more in western half
  • both grow in Missouri; creeping yellowcress is becoming a common nursery weed
