Narrowleaved Four O’Clock: (p. 375, Weeds of the Great Plains; not in Weeds of the Northeast)

  • has very narrow to linear leaves, compared to more heart-shaped leaves of wild four o’clock
  • is also a simple perennial, with greenish to bright pink terminal flower clusters
  • not as widespread as wild four o’clock; found more in sandy soils and northern Midwest
