All you need to do is declare your major and meet with your pre-vet advisor.
Admission Requirements
Your first steps
- Become a Bear: Apply to Missouri State.
- Before completing 60 credit hours, contact the Academic Advising and Transfer Center to declare or change your major to pre-veterinary medicine.
- Contact the College of Agriculture office to be assigned a pre-vet advisor.
Planning for your veterinary school of choice
Our pre-vet program has a streamlined path into the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri (Mizzou).
If you want to pursue a veterinary school other than Mizzou, talk with your academic advisor.
