Cardinal Climber:

  • Summer annual vine with bright green, heart-shaped, but deeply-lobed leaves that is a hybrid between Cypress Vine and Red or Scarlet Morngingglory
  • Flowers are 1-3 inches long, bright red, trumpet shaped--favored by hummingbirds
  • Found in cultivated fields and waste areas; is also grown as an ornamental and hummingbird-attractant
