AgVentures Registration

AgVentures Camp is a one-day experience specifically designed for 6th-8th grade students to learn about agriculture at the Ozark Empire Fair. Students will learn about native plant species, the life cycle of the pig, farm safety principles, and conservation practices. Participants will hear from representatives from Missouri State University's Darr College of Agriculture, Ozark Empire Fair Staff, the Missouri Department of Conservation, and the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks.

Schedule

9:45am- Arrive at Gate 10 of the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds

10am- Begin AgVentures at Darr Family Building

12pm- Lunch at Ozark Empire Fair Foundation food stand

2pm- Depart from AgVentures Gate 10 of the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds

Registration is $10 per participant and includes:

Admission to Ozark Empire Fair for the day (participant only)
Lunch provided by Ozark Empire Fair
T-shirt provided by the Darr College of Agriculture
Prizes and giveaways!

Only 10 students per day will be admitted into the AgVentures program. Parents and/or guardians will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Please pack a water bottle for your student to keep them cool during their time at AgVentures.
