Missouri State wines are produced and bottled by the Mountain Grove Cellars winery from grapes grown at the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station. The experiment station is located in the Ozark Mountain Region American Viticultural Area (AVA). Tasting by appointment only. Call 417-547-7500 to make an appointment. Wine sales support research and education in viticulture and enology at Missouri State University.

Wines

Missouri Pink Catawba

A sweet, pink wine with fresh Catawba flavor and yellow apple aroma.
Best with fresh fruit and light desserts after dinner.

Missouri Chambourcin

A light-bodied red wine, with a blackberry character and buttery oak notes. Similar to Pinot Noir.
Pair with spaghetti with marinara sauce and pizza.

White Blend

Dry Crisp white wine.

Ozark Mountain Port

A fabulous fortified ruby dessert wine.

Splendid when paired with chocolate or cheesecake.

Maroon Blend

A blend of Norton and Chambourcin, with aromas of dark berry fruits and a hint of oak.

Excellent with grilled meats and burgers.

Missouri Norton

A medium bodied Norton wine with black cherry, pepper and oak notes.
