Missouri State wines are produced and bottled by the Mountain Grove Cellars winery from grapes grown at the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station. The experiment station is located in the Ozark Mountain Region American Viticultural Area (AVA). Tasting by appointment only. Call 417-547-7500 to make an appointment. Missouri Pink Catawba
A sweet, pink wine with fresh Catawba flavor and yellow apple aroma.
Best with fresh fruit and light desserts after dinner.
A light-bodied red wine, with a blackberry character and buttery oak notes. Similar to Pinot Noir.
Pair with spaghetti with marinara sauce and pizza.
Dry Crisp white wine.
Ozark Mountain Port
A fabulous fortified ruby dessert wine.
Splendid when paired with chocolate or cheesecake.
A blend of Norton and Chambourcin, with aromas of dark berry fruits and a hint of oak.
Excellent with grilled meats and burgers.
A medium bodied Norton wine with black cherry, pepper and oak notes.
Complements beef stew, sausage, and other hearty fare.
A medium-bodied dry red wine with lively, blended berry notes enveloped in subtle spice, which ends with a pleasant, soft finish.
Rose wine is a dry crisp wine.
Fermented from molasses. Age in small oak barrels.
