Cooperative PhD
Pursuing doctoral distinction
The William H. Darr College of Agriculture has established a cooperative doctoral arrangement with the plant sciences unit at the University of Missouri-Columbia. This agreement allows students who have completed their Master of Science in Plant Science degree at Missouri State to apply for admission into the doctoral program offered by the plant sciences unit.
Once admitted, students can pursue assistantship opportunities on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus or continue at Missouri State by conducting doctoral research programs under the advisement of approved faculty members.
