The agriculture program at Missouri State provide a strong foundation of agriculture knowledge through courses in agronomy, animal science, horticulture and business. As an agriculture student, you will be prepared for a variety of careers with public, private, nonprofit and governmental agencies. Specifically, the Bachelor of Applied Science degree will provide you with the necessary skills for the following careers:
- Banking and finance
- Conservation
- Extension education
- Farm and ranch population and management
- Management in state and federal agencies
- Sales and management of agriculture products
