Tips for success
- This is a sample schedule. Your actual schedule may vary.
- This plan is for those applying to the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary
Medicine before completion of bachelor's degree requirements.
- Meet with your advisor and review the class schedule before confirming your schedule.
- Take PSY 121 as one of your general education courses.
- No more than two (2) required courses for veterinary school admission can remain during
your last spring semester at Missouri State. Mizzou requires 10 hours of biology at
level BIO 121 or higher.
- Review the four-year plan in animal science with pre-veterinary emphasis if you want to start veterinary school after you finish your bachelor's degree. Around 90 percent of students accepted into Mizzou's
veterinary school have already completed their bachelor's degrees.
